最近、このブログの読者から声をかけられることが出てきた。あくまで自分の備忘目的と言うものの、嬉しい。

今日は、日本橋近くでランチのお勧めの場所。http://r.tabelog.com/tokyo/A1302/A130202/13010571/　コレド日本橋の4階の「皆美」です。和食の店。私の会社にはマレーシア人がいるので、彼らとあるいはマレーシアからの人と食事をするには和食が無難。（イスラムの人は、肉類は戒律があり、食べるのに困難。魚は大丈夫）

この店は、いつもそれほど混んでおらず、椅子の配列にも余裕があり、良いです。

見出しだけ読んで、なんのことかさっぱり分からなかった。要は、不正会計等の問題がある中国企業にカラ売りを仕掛けるやり方がまたはやってきた。Evergrandeという中国の不動産企業が標的になっている。

今日は早稲田大学ファイナンススクールで開催されたイスラム金融のセミナーに参加。議論の多くが日本版のスクークについてだった。法整備は整ったのに、何故、一件も発行がないのか？議論はいろいろあったのだが、発行体にとっても投資家にとってもまだよくわからない、ゆえに魅力がない。ということに尽きるのだろう。

「海外の発行体が日本の低金利を魅力に発行する。利回りが国債より高くて魅力的」という特徴があるとすれば、「サムライ債」の競合商品になると思われる。サムライ債とは違う切り口で、アジアのインフラ建設需要に対応した債券。たとえばインドネシアやインドでの道路、ダム、港、空港、工業団地等の建設資金を調達するようにしたらよいのではないだろうか。形態としてアセットファイナンスになる。格付けを取って、サムライ債＋αのリスクプレミアムを乗せれば、日本の投資家も買うのではないだろうか。

単語：

asylum: əsa’iləm 発音が難しい。亡命

説明：

ときどき思い出したように乗る、Wikileaksの創設者であるAssange氏の記事。ロンドンのエクアドル大使館で亡命を求めていると言う。大使館前でWikileaksの支持者が”Don’t shoot the messenger” “代弁者を撃つな“というプラカードを掲げているという。

説明：

満期を過ぎても投資の多くが塩漬けになっているゾンビファンドが増加している。こういうファンドを安く買いたたくセカンダリーファンドに売却するとか、ファンドは延長を認めるがマネジャーを替えるとか、いろいろな手段が取られ、何とか、ゾンビに息を吹き込もうとしている。

見出し：

1.    Spain pays to raise needed cash おなじみのユーロ圏の混乱

2.    Court dismissed Pakistan premier  パキスタンの最高裁がギラニ首相(Gilani)の議員資格停止を命じた（首相は議員でないと成れないので、首相もクビ）と言う記事。

日経ほど状況が詳細には書かれていない。ギラニに同情的。ギラニは汚職で摘発されたが、司法も汚染されているというWSJのコメントあり。

3.    Japan’s Kazuo Okada ups the ante.

単語：

up the ante: 掛け金をつり上げる

説明：

3番目見出しに出てくる岡田和夫氏は、日本では知名度が低いが、海外ではしばしば取り上げられる日本人。岡田和夫か岡田和生かもはっきりしない。パチスロメーカーで財をなし、ラスベガスのカジノ王Steve Wynnと組んでマカオに大きなカジノリゾートを計画中（所有？）と言われる。マカオのカジノをめぐっては岡田氏とWynnは袂を分かち、訴訟合戦になっている。

今回のWSJの記事は、フィリピンのカジノ計画に大きく賭けようとしている岡田氏の状況をまとめたもの。

文章：

A man in Tokyo struggles to control his umbrella against winds generated by Typhoon Guchol. The typhhon made landfall in western Japan on Tuesday and was heading across eastern and northern Japan. Flights and trains were disrupted, and more than 120,000 people across the country were told to evacuate.

説明：

Typhoon Gucholってなんだ！台風4号ではないのか？仮に英語で名前をつけるとしたら4号だから、台風デビッドや台風デイジーではないのか？　そこで台風の命名法を調べてみると、http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%8F%B0%E9%A2%A8

に詳しく記されている。興味のある方は読むとよい。Gucholという聞きなれない名前はミクロネシア語でウコンだそうだ。

説明：

米国では個人の信用情報の整備が進んでいる。今までの返済の記録、公共料金の支払い状況、就業状況、収入、等によって、credit scoreが付けられる。現在、金融機関は、スコアの高い人には融資するが、低い人への融資は絞っている。Fedがいくら資金供給しても、必要な人に資金が届かなければ意味がない。

earmark A for B: AをBのために取っておく

説明：

マリオットは今後3年で中国でのホテルを2倍（５４から１００へ。凄いね！）にする計画を発表。

snare: 名詞は小動物をとらえる罠。動詞は、罠に掛ける、誘惑してだます

coveted: 誰もがほしがる、待ち望まれた

single driver: 単独運転。「俺に任せてくれればすべて上手くやるから」と言う感じ

その代わり、「上手くいかなかったら首を絞めてくれ」というもの。

説明：

上手くいけば非難もされなかったのであろうが、FacebookのIPOの主幹事を務めたモルガンスタンレーは評判が悪い。悪い情報を隠したとか、主要な投資家とのミーティングから共同幹事のJP MorganとGoldman Sacksを外したとか。

Record-low approval ratingsって幾つかと思ったら39％だそうだ。どうする野田首相。

スキャンダルと言っても大したことはない気がするのだが、香港での政情の不安定が寄与しているのだと思われる。この記事は日本の新聞では気がつきませんでした。

経済危機に際し、Basel3をはじめとする規制強化は先送りされる見込みだ。

説明：

見出しを読んで、全く意味が分からなかった。Tripleと言うのはDowが3桁上昇すること。doubleは二日連続でということ。ダウの二日連続での3桁上昇。という意味。
