１．イーロン・マスク、Twitter社とのディールをまとめる

イーロン・マスク、Twitterを総額440億ドル（一株$54.20、38％のプレミアム）で買収することでTwitterと合意。マスクは20年来の同社を非公開化する願望を実現。トランプのアカウントを再開するかが大きな関心。マスクの言葉はFree speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square. 同社従業員の多くは前途に悲観。株価は51.70ドルまで上昇。

２．次は北京がロックダウンか
【記事要旨】
北京の朝陽区では金曜以来70の感染確認。3-5百万住民全員のPCR検査を今後５日以内に実施予定。北京では市民が買いだめに走る。上海での厳しいロックダウンが前例で、世界のサプライチェインに影響を与え中国経済に打撃を与えている。ロックダウンを機に政府は民間企業への統制を強めている。
【感想】
全市民PCR検査の後は厳しいロックダウンというのがこれまでの政府の方針と市民に見透かされている。
３．米国はロシアの弱体化を狙う
【記事要旨】
バイデン大統領はブリンケン国務長官の訪ウ後、現駐スロバキア大使をウクライナ大使に任命しキーフの大使館を再開予定。オースチン国防長官はWe want to see Russia weakened to the degree it cannot do the kind of things that it has done in invading Ukraineと語る。戦争は拡大し、ウクライナ東部では何万もの住民が電気のない生活。西部では少なくとも５つの駅が露のミサイル攻撃を受ける。オデッサでは数が月前に娘が生まれ幸せをかみしめていた母親が娘と共に死亡。ゼレンスキーの政策には野党からも支持。
【感想】
米国のウクライナへの強力な支援は、米ロ代理戦争の表れでもある。
